Travel safe, travel healthy, travel green, travel less.
The Climate & Ecological Emergency is not a remote and abstract problem. Locally, we have experienced freak winds and relentless rain flooding properties, collapsing banks closing roads and water-logging paths.
In October 2023, all Loders residents were invited, by the Parish Council, to a meeting to discuss local initiatives in response to the climate emergency. Three groups were formed, Wildlife, Energy and Transport.
Our Campaigns
We're currently focusing on four local transport issues that would make our community healthier, greener and more sustainable.

Non-Road Route
A safe, direct, level, off-road connection between Loders to Bradpole, onto Bridport. Accessible for everyone: walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, pushchairs and bicycles.

Food Miles
Promoting locally sourced food deliveries and encouraging schemes to make it easier to share home-grown produce.

Public Transport
We support campaigns to improve local public transport.
